We are 100% run by volunteers and rely on your generous donations

I Want A Greyhound (IWaG) Inc. is a registered not-for-profit greyhound rehoming, education and support charity.

The majority of our costs to rehome greyhounds include:

  • veterinary bills - including heartworm and hookworm tests and major dentals if required for incoming hounds

  • medications - including flea, tick and worming treatments

  • supplies to keep our foster hounds well fed, safe and comfortable - food, lead, collar, coat, bowls, bed/crate and other

Some of the costs involved in preparing our greyhounds ready for their forever homes include:

$3 - ID tag

$3 - a month's supply of fish oil capsules

$6 - a lead

$9 - a food or water bowl

$16 - a house collar or 'adopt me' martingale collar

$14 – microchip registration

$16 - a month's flea/tick/worming tablets

$25 - a warm coat in winter

$40 - 2 weeks of raw food

$40 - a harness

$75 - Adaptil collar

$90 - crate

$259* - 5-week Greyhound 101 class with Fellowship of the Paws

$275* - 3 one-on-one in-home lessons with Fellowship of the Paws
